Spearfishing charters

Come and Explore the Ocean with us!!

In October, November and December 2019, The owner of Aimrite International – Travis Hogan will be hosting Spearfishing Expeditions to the most remote parts of the Coral Sea in search of World Record Black Marlin and Dogtooth Tuna. While these species will be the main target, other species encountered will include Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin and a large number of exotic reef fish.

These charters are species and area specific and Travis will use his wealth of knowledge, experience and resources to make sure you are diving the right areas to ensure a much higher success rate of encountering record fish. His expertise in spearfishing manufacturing and rigging will also ensure there is no guess work or faults in your set up, allowing you to dive with peace of mind knowing your gear will not fail. Whilst on board Travis (or a nominated guide) will offer coaching and guidance each evening in regards to the areas and species you will target each day so that you are able to take full advantage of the trip by employing these techniques which have proven to be very successful over the years.

All trips are different, we cater for the spearo on a budget camping on a remote Island as well as those who want to live it up in comfort aboard luxury Game Fishing boats. These trips are all inclusive (except alcohol) and there will be Bluewater spearfishing equipment on board to use as well as new products to test from Aimrite. We have a strong emphasis on Teamwork and Safety and will ensure that your trip is of the highest standard!

Keep an eye out for our International trips to PNG and NZ in 2020.
