The Aimrite VENGEANCE Carbon Roller Speargun is a serious piece of spearfishing equipment built for divers who demand precision in reef and dirty-water conditions. Available in 85cm and 95cm, it combines a hydrodynamic carbon cuttlefish body, an Australian made handle, and an Italian made reel into one of the most advanced production roller spearguns on the market.

The carbon cuttlefish body is the centrepiece of the VENGEANCE design. Its unique profile delivers faster tracking than traditional roller body shapes, making it exceptionally responsive in tight reef environments where quick repositioning matters. With 3mm wall thickness, the carbon construction offers outstanding durability without adding unnecessary weight in the water.

Balance and buoyancy are dialled in for real-world spearfishing conditions. The improved internal ballast system means the speargun sits near-neutral with the shaft loaded — reducing arm fatigue on long dives — and floats horizontally at the surface with the shaft out, even with the reel fitted. That's a practical advantage when you're managing your gear on the surface between dives.

The Australian made Aimrite handle is ergonomically shaped to fit both thin and thick dive gloves comfortably, giving you confident grip and control in cold or warm water. Paired with Aimrite's precision roller release mechanism, the VENGEANCE delivers a smooth, consistent release and the kind of long-term reliability that serious spearfishers expect from a lifetime-warranted speargun.

Every VENGEANCE leaves the workshop hand assembled and individually tested. Standard setup includes a 7.5mm stainless steel spear shaft, 16mm Formula Red USA Latex bands with the Aimrite logo, and an Italian made reel. Chameleon colour options are also available — rubber and reel line colours matched to the body, with personalised combinations available through the Aimrite Workshop.

Key Features:

  • Single roller spearfishing speargun in 85cm and 95cm
  • Hydrodynamic carbon cuttlefish body with 3mm wall thickness
  • Near-neutral balance with shaft loaded; horizontal surface float with shaft out
  • Fast tracking body profile for reef and low-visibility diving
  • Australian made Aimrite ergonomic handle — glove-friendly design
  • Precision roller release mechanism for smooth, reliable performance
  • 7.5mm stainless steel spear shaft
  • 16mm Formula Red USA Latex bands
  • Italian made reel (standard fitment)
  • Hand assembled and individually tested
  • Lifetime warranty

Vengeance 85cm

Very loud, average performance.
Changed the rubbers for better quality full length after first dive, much quieter and faster now.
Safety looks good but not practical.
Trigger mech requires moving the trigger back and then forward to ensure positive lock.
Nice barrel and good tracking but for the price a bit disappointing

Hi Russel,

Thanks for providing your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're disappointed and wish you had reached out to us directly first to work through this. We always want our customers to be 100% satisfied and we can definitely work through all the points raised.

Just in response to a few of your points:

We only use Primeline Industries rubber from the USA, which is widely regarded as the highest quality latex rubber available. It's the same premium rubber we've used for years on our entire range of spearguns.

Regarding the trigger mechanism, you don't need to move the trigger back and forth when loading the shaft. It sounds like there may be an issue with how the shaft is being engaged. This video shows the correct loading procedure:

As for the safety, if this is your first Aimrite, it can take a couple of dives to get used to. Once you're familiar with it, this safety is one of the safest and easiest safeties on the market. It eliminates many issues common with traditional safety systems and you never have to worry about missing a shot. Here is a video that details our handle and safety.

The Vengeance is the exact gun Josh from Reef Addicts and Sam from Wet Mammal have been using for years, along with hundreds of our customers. Here's a video showcasing the gun's performance in the standard factory setup. If you visit their Youtube channels you can also see this gun in use.

We feel that once you're fully familiar with Aimrite and the gun, you'll be very happy with the performance.
