Workshop & Production Assistant

Location: Cairns, QLD
Employment Type: Casual or Permanent Part-Time

About the Role

This is a hands-on role working across our workshop and production operations. You'll assist with manufacturing, assembling, packaging and dispatching premium products while helping keep our workshop running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the assembly and production of Aimrite products

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

  • Prepare components and materials for production

  • Conduct quality checks to maintain our high standards

  • Manage daily customer orders and freight bookings

  • Pack and prepare products for dispatch

  • Monitor and respond to customer emails, phone messages and enquiries

  • Assemble product components including bridles, inserts, bungees and rubber components

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop

  • Support the production team with general workshop duties

About You

You'll be someone who:

  • Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on work

  • Takes pride in producing quality work

  • Has excellent attention to detail

  • Can work independently and as part of a team

  • Is reliable, punctual and physically fit

  • Has good communication and organisational skills

  • Holds a current Australian driver's licence (preferred)

Previous workshop, production, warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right applicant.
